Another remarkably crafted design by the world-renowned Robert Trent Jones team, the Celebration Golf Club follows in line with the Jones’ core philosophy that “every hole should be a hard par and an easy bogey.” As the scorecards show, many a professional golfer has found the course to be an apt challenge during such notable events as Oldsmobile Scramble Finals, Central Florida Amateur Championships, the U.S.G.A. Senior Amateur Qualifiers, and the Spalding LPGA T and CP Southeast Section Championships have all used the venue in its brief tenure. It has also received notoriety in being granted four and a half stars by Golf Digest and ranked very high on many magazines’ lists of top courses in Florida. While easily testing the most experienced of golfers from its back tees – some 6.772 yard - Celebration offers five sets of tees, with the front set constricting the course to what amounts to an 18 hole par 3 course; so even golf novices can partake of this refined course. The more expansive front nine allows golfers some freedom to choose their angle of attack, however the back nine, which provides tighter fairways and increased hazards, truly tests any golfer’s shot-making ability.
