The par 72, 18-hole course was designed by the well-known Cilfton, Ezell & Clifton Golf Design Group who successfully created a classic, Florida-styled golf course. Stoneybrook East was designed to fit players of all skill levels. From the back tees, the course is only 6,820 yards. The fairways are open, rolling and are lined with trees and the bunkers are large. Wetlands, wildlife and plenty of water can be found throughout the course. In addition, the greens are well-maintained and require some strategy to play them successfully. The holes have fun names such as “The Eliminator” and “The Equalizer”, so players have an idea of what type of challenge they will be facing. Players must consider each shot, each club, and each approach to the green to play well at Stoneybrook East. Stoneybrook East golf course is located in Orlando – near both the University of Central Florida and the Orlando International Airport. Consequently, it is the perfect course for all kinds golfers – from collegiate athletes, to vacationers, to residents of Central Florida. Orlando is home to Disney World, Epcot Center, MGM and Universal Studios. There is also an abundance of fine restaurants, shopping and a thriving club scene. Golfers from all walks of life like the location of Stoneybrook East, but the real attraction is the great golf course. Stoneybrook East is also home to the Mike Bender Golf Academy. Mike Bender is ranked by Golf Digest Magazine as one of the nation’s top ten golf instructors. There are several options for instruction at Stoneybrook Golf Club, ranging from private or group lessons to junior clinics and summer camps. In addition, to top-ranked golf instruction, there is also a fully-stocked pro shop on-site. The practice facility is complete with greens and bunkers.
